The scheme targets to enable the students belonging to minority communities and prepare them for competitive examinations, so that their involvement in government and private jobs enhances. The scheme offers economic support for free coaching to notified minority students in selected coaching institutions.
Objectives of the Scheme
• Qualifying examinations for entrance in technical/ professional courses such as medical, law, engineering, management, information technology, etc. and language/aptitude examinations for looking admission to foreign universities.
• Competitive exams for enlistment to group 'A', 'B' and 'C' facilities and other similar posts under the Central and State Governments comprising public sector undertakings, banks, insurance companies as well as self-governing bodies

Ans:-The scheme aims to entitle the students belonging to minority communities and train them for competitive examinations, so that their involvement in government and private jobs improves.

Ans:-The following types of organizations will be qualified for getting economic support under this Scheme :-
• All institutions in the government sector, comprising universities and self-governing bodies, involved in professional coaching for competitive examinations.
• Universities/colleges in private sector engaged in professional coaching activities, comprising deemed Universities.
• Trusts, Partnership Firms, Companies, or Societies enrolled under Societies Registration Act, 1860 and engaged in professional coaching.

Ans:-An amount of Rs.2500/- per month will be remunerated to all the students who will be taking training under the scheme liable to satisfying the other terms and conditions.

Ans:-The new component of the scheme was initiated on steer basis for about 1000 students at 100 or more students per center in 10 states/UTs. The new component1 is a two year residential targeted training for science students of class XI & XII for preparation of medical/engineering entrance exams and the new component2 is a one year targeted training for students passed 12th class with Science Subjects.
